Dear Friends and Colleagues:
The university is growing rapidly. We
have enrolled hundreds of students since January in more than 20 countries. Our
alumni association is also growing. The University was established 17 years ago
and we have graduated thousands of students around the world. Graduations were
held in Spain, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and other venues. We
are planning a graduation in Los Angeles at the end of this year.
US STATE DEPARTMENT
Many of you have requested stamps and
signatures from the US Department of Foreign Affairs. Please note that the US
State Department is equivalent to the Department of Foreign Affairs. Therefore,
apostilles from the State Department are ranked as high or higher than any
division of foreign affairs.
VICE PRESIDENT OF
AMERICAN WORLD
Dr. Amir Joushanpoosh is the vice
president of AWU. Recently he traveled to Egypt on behalf of the university and
met with high officials of a new university there. Dr. Amir is Persian and
communicates daily with students in his native country Iran. He is a great asset
to the University and he will also travel to Guatemala in May of this year.
NEW BOOK
Please note that Dr. Maxine Asher has
written a new book which will be printed in Guatemala in English and in Spanish.
It will also be on sale by the beginning of June. The title is "Definitive
Scientific Evidence for the Existence of Atlantis." The book is well documented
and has undersea photos and satellite photos. It is based on Dr. Asher's 30
years of research into the problem of Atlantis.
NEWS OF OUR
STUDENTS
Many AWU graduated students are
getting prestigious jobs in education, business and industry. We get many
letters weekly thanking us for our research based university in which students
are required to think critically and be creative in their academic pursuits.
There is more to learning than sheer mechanization. AWU never forgets the human
component in education when teaching students.
Best wishes to all,
Dr. Maxine Asher
President
